How do I earn points?

Points are automatically earned when you perform various actions in FanTribe. For example, you get 500 points just for using the App once a day.

I received a notification about a new poll but I can’t see it?

FanTribe polls are a great opportunity for an easy 1,000 points but they don’t last long. Polls are only live for a limited time so you’ll need to get in quick for those valuable points. If it doesn’t automatically appear when you open your app, you can manually refresh your newsfeed by swiping down on your newsfeed, if the poll is still available, it will appear but if you can’t see it, you missed out this time.

 

What can I win in the Play&Win?

Each day you receive three (3) free spins in the Play&Win. Line up three (3) matching icons to win FanTribe points or an instant win voucher.

 

What are points used for?

  1. Unlocking Rewards: Accumulate enough points to unlock valuable rewards and money-can’t-buy experiences. Better still, points are not deducted when you claim these benefits. However, to give every user – new and old – an equal chance to claim rewards, your points will only start accumulating against new rewards once that reward becomes active.
  2. Higher Rankings: The more points you collect, the higher your ranking and FanTribe prestige. Each fan starts with a Club Junior ranking. All points earned throughout the season are automatically reset back to zero at the end of each calendar year on 31 December, giving them a maximum one-year shelf life.
  3. Weekly Leaderboard and End of Season Major Prize: The user with the most points at the end of each week and also at the end of the season (see more details in next question) will win. Weekly points reset each round to allow all users an equal chance of winning the prizes, while your points will continue to accrue for the end of season prize.

 

How do I win the weekly and season prizes?

There will be 27 weekly prizes, one for each game week, starting from Round One of the NRL Premiership through to the final Round 26 of regular competition – including Representative Round. The weekly prize will be awarded to the eligible user who earns the most points for each game week, which runs from 12:01am (AEST) Monday to 11:59pm (AEST) Sunday. If you’ve earned the highest accumulated points by 5pm (AEST) Friday 8 December 2017, you’ll be crowned our season prize winner. Please see our Terms & Conditions for full details.

 

How do I claim a Rewards item?

In the Rewards section, you will find different rewards on offer from the club and its partners. Each reward has its own points value. You can only unlock a reward once you’ve obtained the required points value by performing the various FanTribe actions outlined in: How do I earn points? Your points will start accumulating for that reward only when the reward becomes active. When you claim a reward, your points will not be deducted. Once you have unlocked your reward, you will automatically receive a redemption notice explaining how to access your product or service.

 

I have enough points in my Fan Card, so why can’t I claim that new reward straight away?

To give every user – new and old – an equal chance to claim rewards, your points will only start accumulating against new rewards once that reward becomes active. So if a new reward valued at 10,000 points goes online today and you already have 15,000 points in your Fan Card, these points will not go towards unlocking that reward. You have to start collecting the required points from that reward’s activation time. Existing points can be used for other incentives like pre-existing rewards, increasing your FanTribe user ranking or working towards winning the Major End of Season Prize.

 

How do I purchase a Flash Sales item?

In the Flash Sales section, you will find offers available from the club and its partners. These Flash Sales are generally available for a limited time only and have limited quantities. Each Flash Sales item will have an associated token value. If you don’t have enough tokens, you’ll need to purchase them by tapping the Tokens section in the side Fan Card menu. Once your Flash Sales item is unlocked, you will automatically receive a redemption notice sent to your email address and it can also found in your Redeem section in the FanCar menu, clearly explaining how to access your product or service.

 

Can I use my points to purchase Flash Sales items?

Unfortunately not at the moment. You will need to purchase tokens to access these offers.

 

Can I buy points with my tokens?

Unfortunately not at the moment. Points are only awarded for opening and accessing various features across the App.

 

How do I view a Premium Video?

Exclusive club FanTribe videos can be purchased via the Newsfeed section, the Video section in the side Fan Card menu and from the Video tab on the Match Details page. Each premium video has an associated token value to unlock it. If you don’t have enough tokens, you can buy more from the Tokens section in the side Fan Card menu. Once a video is purchased, it will become unlocked and viewable. All unlocked videos can be accessed from the Fan Card Side Menu > Video > Unlocked tab. No liability will be accepted for the incompatibility of Videos with any mobile phone or device.

 

What’s the difference between tokens and points?

Tokens are simply the ‘electronic currency’ used to buy items on FanTribe like Flash Sales, Premium Videos and club or sponsor experiences. You can purchase tokens from your Fan Card using your credit or debit card. Points are values automatically awarded to FanTribe users based on your App activities. Points are not deducted when you claim any benefits. However, all points earned throughout the season are automatically reset back to zero at the end of each calendar year on 31 December, giving them a maximum one year shelf life. Tokens expire on 31 December of the following year after being purchased, meaning they have a maximum two year shelf life.

 

How do I set up my FanTribe push notifications?

You can go to the Fan Card Side Menu > Settings > Push Notifications.

For iOS devices, your push notifications will only work if your phone’s push notifications for FanTribe are also switched ON. Go to your device’s Settings > Notifications > Broncos FanTribe > Allow Notifications – toggle to ON.

 

Can I have more than one FanTribe account?

To be eligible to win the weekly and season prizes, you can only have one active account with a unique email address and mobile phone number.

 

How do I get in touch about an issue, error or reward or flash sales item that I’ve unlocked?

You can easily contact us by using the Leave Feedback option in the side Fan Card menu. Please ensure you provide as much detail as possible about your query, plus your full name and the exact item that you’re enquiring about. We will endeavour to get back to you within 48 hours.

 

How can I follow what other FanTribe users are doing and have other fans follow me?

Simply click on the People section in your side Fan Card menu to Invite friends, Discover other FanTribe users to follow, and check who your current followers are and whom you are already following yourself.

 

How can I hide or remove Newsfeed posts from other users?

Easy – just ‘Unfollow’ them from your Fan Card side menu by selecting the People option, clicking on Followed, then clicking on the related user to unfollow them. This will automatically remove them and their posts from your Followeds and Newsfeed.
